Jazz™

JAZZ™ is the most exciting new apple variety to hit the global apple market for at least a decade.  JAZZ™ has a tangy sweet crunch that is recognised as the loudest measured.  A bright bi-coloured apple with rich red over a fresh green background. JAZZ™ is a cross between Royal Gala and Braeburn, and was bred naturally by Plant and Food Research at Havelock North, New Zealand. Jazz™ is harvested about one week before Braeburn.

 JAZZ™has numerous attributes that make it a great growing and exporting apple. It's ability to maintain quality in storage is exceptional.  Firmness makes JAZZ™ inherently resistant to bruising which, combined with the extremely low level of internal disorders and rots, ensures that a quality product with minimal defects is delivered to the market.

The size of Jazz™ fruit is typically small, being similar to Gala.  Jazz™ is a long storing apple that offers the opportunity to provide consistently high quality fruit for consumers.
